GREEN CARNATION (NO)

 

Started as early as 1990, Green Carnation established their cult status among progrock and avantgarde metal fans all over the world in the early 2000s with their 60-minute masterpiece Light of Day, Day of Darkness and have been critically acclaimed throughout their career for their artistic creativity and astonishing musical concepts.
The Norwegians have conquered stages all over the world and are in Belgium for the first time.
 
   
MOURNFUL CONGREGATION (AU)
 
Formed in 1993 for the purpose of creating and delivering Extreme Doom Metal upon this earth. Macrocosmic Doom for Microcosmic Beings.
 
   
BELL WITCH (US)
 
Seattle based duo BELL WITCH have, since their inception in 2010, carved a unique niche in the metal scene. Utilising only bass, drums and vocals to create a mournful, melodic take on minimalism and an ethereal but crushing approach to magnitude. Their most recent LP, Mirror Reaper (Profound Lore) was recorded by Billy Anderson and is their most focused, structured and melancholy release to date.
 
   
MARCHE FUNÈBRE (BE)
 
Host of DTM for the 10th time, Marche Funèbre, started their doomytale in early 2008. So far they released an some EP's and 3 full length albums. Next to that they toured extensively, and shared the stage with countless great bands (in the genre).
They play an eclectic blend of all things dark, doom and metal, and have an excellent live reputation.
 
   
OPHIS (DE)
 
Formed in 2001, in Hamburg, Germany, doom death metal their game. Meanwhile they toured extensively and released 4 full length albums, and some EP's. We are proud to finally host them on Darken the Moon.
 
   
VIN DE MIA TRIX (UKR)
 
The band was formed in late 2007, but it wasn’t until 2009 that the line-up was complete. A month later VdMT played their first gig in Kyiv, followed by a string of successful shows, among which concerts supporting Saturnus, Mourning Beloveth and Autumnia.
After recording an EP in 2009, a full-length debut was released in 2013. A live bootleg tape and a split CD have bridged the gap until the massive double-album PALIMPSESTS was released in May 2017.
